“Caring for the Caregiver” 2:3

This is the second of three weekly presentations regarding Alzheimer’s and dementia. All are welcome to attend all three presentations.

The first (5.24.17)is for those new to a diagnosis or care who want to learn the basic information about Alzheimer’s and dementia.Do you know the difference?

The second presentation (5.31.17) will deal with taking care of the caregiver and the stressors they face. There are steps that can be taken to  help the caregiver understand what is happening with their loved one and how to mange stressful moments.

The final presentation (6.7.17) will look at how the disease progresses and how that progression impacts the patient and the caregiver.
