"...I did want to share with you that I admire you and all you do for the dementia community. Your commitment to AFTD and families like mine, without having a personal connection to FTD specifically, speaks volumes about your character and heart. We could really use more volunteers in the AFTD program like you. Also, the fact that you spend your professional life serving the dementia community AND volunteer on your "free" time to do the same is really remarkable. Serving this community in the way you do, while incredibly fulfilling, is also heart wrenching and exhausting. Since joining the RC team, I have been so impressed by you and have looked up to you and your example. We will definitely miss you - but you can only do so much and you are already doing A LOT!
