This is an Alzheimer’s/Dementia and Palliative Care awareness training program for clergy.  An overview of Alzheimer’s disease, Dementia, Warning Signs and Risk factors will be discussed by Doreen C. Putnam of DCPutnam Consulting.  The Rev. Marie Carpenter, Director of Elder Care Ministries  for ABCORI will discuss palliative care and techniques that will assist clergy who are dealing with parishioners who are suffering from a myriad of chronic, but not necessarily terminal, illnesses.
